Water Cups was a collaborative, multimedia project exploring the causes of climate change and its effect on the health of waterways and ecosystems in the Mendocino area. I created cups using clay I harvested locally in Willits, CA, while my collaborator, Seth Garcia, wrote poems inspired by shared research. Using lithography and stamps, I incorporated text from these poems alongside relevant images. Cups were given to the community at the project's showcase with the intention of generating discourse and awareness around environmental concerns in relation to human water use.
